Appreciated by her peers for her original perspectives and unapologetic delivery, Evelyn Mok is already an industry favourite. Named ‘One to Watch’ by Time Out Magazine, Mok has showcased on ‘BBC Presents’ for the BBC and collaborated with Comedy Central who have deemed “The Swedish Amy Schumer“. With a guest role in Sam Simmons’ Comedy Blaps ‘Wallstud: Spincycle’ for Channel 4, she is set for another guest role alongside Tim Renkow this summer, in his Comedy Feed ‘A Brief History of Tim’ for BBC3.

Mok is an alumn of the prestigious Pleasance Theatre Comedy Reserve and Just the Tonic’s Big Value Showcase, and is a much sought after stand-up performing all over the UK and Europe and has appeared at numerous festivals, including the Latitude Festival, and the Edinburgh Fringe.

In her native Sweden she has garnered awards such as ‘One to Watch‘ at the Swedish Stand-Up Gala and ‘New Comedian of the year‘ presented by comedy club Komikaze. She is a staple on the live circuit and has made several appearances on radio and television, therein panel show ‘Hårdvinklat‘, prank calling show ‘Telefonpiraterna‘ the swedish version of hit show ‘Fonejacker‘ and ‘Evelyn’s videoblogg‘ her own webb-series which she wrote and starred in for the Swedish National Broadcasting Network (SVT).
